Our Full Range of Services
Based in Listowel, Co. Kerry, Tim Quilter and his team offer a full range of stonemasonry services to repair, conserve, and maintain stone structures. Using traditional materials and methods, we carry out a wide range of projects across the Munster region.
Design & Build
We offer full design and build service for stonework on both new and existing properties, from natural stone walls to complete house cladding. Each project is designed to suit the building it’s part of, combining contemporary planning with traditional materials and methods, so the finished stonework suits the building it belongs to.
Conservation & Restoration
We restore historic and heritage stonework using the same techniques and materials as the original build. This means as little historic fabric as possible is lost and what remains stays intact for years to come.
Stone Cleaning & Vegetation Removal
We clean stonework and clear vegetation such as ivy, moss and self-seeded growth, choosing the method that best suits the stone and its condition. This can include low-pressure water or poultice cleaning, or more intensive methods such as sandblasting where appropriate. Vegetation is cleared at the root, rather than simply cut back, to prevent regrowth and further damage.
Stone Sourcing & Supply
We source stone to suit the project, whether that’s matching an existing structure for a repair or selecting stone for a new build. Drawing on our established relationships with quarries across Ireland, we can identify the right stone type, colour and finish for the work, and supply it directly as part of the project or on its own.
Stone Carving
With an award-winning master carver on our team, we offer stone carving services for new architectural detailing, replacement stonework, and headstones and memorial carving. When a piece is being replaced on an existing structure, carving is done in-situ to match what’s already there, so the finished work is indistinguishable from the original.
